Shadowing/Observation
It is imperative that students who are considering P.A school have an understanding and appreciation for the profound nature of this ever changing field. The only way this understanding can be obtained is through first hand experiences! YOU MUST OBSERVE A PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT. I highly recomend that you motivate yourself to observe five physician assistants ( yes five...) but a MINIMUM of two would suffice for the application process. ( Be sure to follow P.A's in different fields and practices to have an idea of which one suites you best!!)
LINKS AND CONTACTS OF PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS TO OBSERVE WILL BE PROVIDED THROUGHOUT THE SEMESTER DURING PPAC'S GENERAL MEETINGS
