Constitution
Article I:
Name
-The name of this club will be Pre-Physician Assistant Club,
at the University of North
Florida.
Article II:
Membership
-
(A)The
membership of this club will be open to all University of North Florida A&S
fee paying students.
-
(B) The advisor of the club will be a
full time University employee.
-
(C) Dues will be for a yearly membership.
Article III: Officers
-
(A) The officers positions of this club shall be;
President, Vice President, Secretary, and Public Relations.
-
(B) All officers will be currently enrolled A&S fee
paying students at the University of North Florida.
-
(C) The length of the term of office will be August
30thuntil May 31st that following year. President will be
responsible for delegation of each officer position. President will also assume
direct responsibility of organization throughout the entire year. The length of
term for the president will be renewed or duly appointed August 8th
of each year.

(D) If vacancies in an officer position, that position
will be filled by a special election held at the next open meeting.
Article IV: Election of Officers

(A)Nominations will take place the second week of fall
semester
-
(B) Officers will be elected by Majority 2/3
consensus
-
(C) Installations of officers will take two weeks from
the election date.
Article V: Duties of officers
-
(A) President
§
Preside over all meetings.
§
Responsible for the constructs of meetings, structure
of organization and coordination between all officers.
§
Oversee all organizational
functions.
§
University liaison.
§
Serve as resource of information.
§
Share financial control with vice
president.
§
Maintain professionalism and credibility of
organization.

(B) Vice president
§
Assist President with all duties as called upon and to
preside over the organization in the Presidents absence.
§
Responsible for orating and hosting all
meetings.
§
Share financial control with
President
§
Serve as resource of information
§
Maintain professionalism and credibility of
organization

(C) Secretary
§
Will assist vice president as secondary orator and at
each meeting, will facilitate discussions as well.
§
Will be responsible for keeping
attendance
§
Will serve as main contact for new
applicants
§
Collection of dues
§
In charge of paper work distribution and
collection.
§
Serve as resource of information
§
Maintain professionalism and credibility of
organization.

(D) Public Relations
§
Maintain and manage facebook, twitter, and university
web addresses.
§
In charge of promoting organization
§
Will maintain all updates and current events through
electronic notifications and campus advertisements.
Article VI: Meetings
-
Regular meetings shall be held on a basis of three
non-specific dates each semester, not including summer.

Irregular special meetings will be held either by the
decision of the President or the Vice President
Article VII: Amendment
-
Amendments to this constitution shall be voted on in
this manner, all officers and organizational members preserve the right to
challenge, adjust or inherit a new policy into this constitution. This will
then will be voted on by club officers and adjusted
accordingly.
Article VIII: Removal of Officers/
Members
-
(A) The president reserves the right to remove any
officer of their duties at any time with justification and just cause. Group
consensus among officers reserves
the right to remove the president at any time with justification and just
cause.

(B) Disruptive members will be removed if such action
is deemed inappropriate. In certain cases warnings or suspensions will be
distributed to violator(s).
